BBC Children's Ministries
Children's Ministry at Brashear is dedicated to leading children to become disciples of Christ by growing UPWARD in Worship, INWARD in Commitment, and OUTWARD in evangelism. It is our mission to teach children the Word of God and what it means to serve Him. Our ministry stands on the foundational scripture found in Proverbs 22:6: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We feel that every child should grow to understand the basic principles of the Christian faith. We start with the basics in understanding who God is through scripture using object lessons and engaging lessons that children can understand and apply to their own lives. When your children enter our doors, they become our children too! We will love them and will value the special opportunity we have to share God's Word with them.
Safety First
All children's ministry leaders are required to submit to a thorough background check and are required to complete ministry safe training every two years.
Be a Volunteer
If God is leading you to serve in our children's ministry, there is a place for you! There are so many ways to serve; for example teaching in Children's Church, volunteering for VBS, being a part of our BBC Kids on Wednesday nights as a group leader, or assisting with special children's events throughout the year. If you are interested in serving, please contact Jenny Arledge, Children's Ministry Director.
